Agent’s Representative Course

The first step in establishing a real estate career is to become an Agent’s Representative. Agent’s Representatives perform a variety of real estate roles under the supervision of a licensed estate agent.
This course will furnish you with the entry-level qualifications required to work in real estate in both Sales and Property Management roles.

Successful completion of CPP41419 Certificate IV in Real Estate Practice requires completion of 18 units. As Real Estate Institute of Victoria (REIV) members, we recommend training with the REIV.

The REIV is the peak real estate body for Victoria, which means it is at the forefront of all legislative and regulatory change in the state. The REIV supports the entire real estate sector with up-to-date training, guidance and support. Their online course is reflective of this, providing a blend of self-paced learning with the most up-to-date information, and guided live learning with an expert trainer to ensure your training is progressing in the right way.

Employment Requirements

In order to commence employment as an agent’s representative, you must meet the following requirements of the Business Licensing Authority (BLA):

-Be at least 18 years of age;
-Have a registered address in Victoria;
-Pass the prescribed course, for which the REIV provides training;
-Obtain an authority to act signed by the principal of the agency you will represent;
-Present a police check not more than six months old;
-Provide a Statutory Declaration confirming your eligibility to practice real estate.;
-Have your employer register you with the Business Licensing Authority.
